Victory is pretty sweet.
The kids of America have voted and the results are conclusive: they want to change the name of the sandwich to Jelly & Peanut Butter.
The presidential election of 2016 shocked us all, but the win for Jelly seemed inevitable from the start. The majority of kids believed it was only fair for Jelly to get a turn going first after all of this time. And Jelly was right: kids love sugar.
Jelly thanks all the sweet voters who took a chance on an underdog. It takes courage to go against the whole grain and vote for change.
But never fear Peanut Butter fans. You have four more years to try to put your favorite legume back in pole position!
And in the meantime, Jelly and Peanut Butter are stuck together between two slices of bread.
